This new Bowls Pavilion is designed to be part of the suite of new buildings within Queens Park which includes the Main Pavilion. It expresses the same design intentions of reinterpreting the original Victorian buildings of the Park. This new pavilion replaces a derelict pavilion and is a contemporary interpretation of a traditional park Bowls Pavilion. Access from the rear of the building is to a modern public toilet and changing facility. The front contains the bowlers facilities including toilets, changing rooms, kitchen and large meeting / dining space opening onto the viewing veranda. It is used by the Bowlers and also as a meeting space for local residents and clubs.
